Stage 1 of the walkway :

Under the Trois Becs

The district of Saint-Sauveur-en-Diois shows one of the steepest elevations in this area of the Diois. Only 4 kms separate the banks of the river Drôme and the Rocher Blanc as the crow flies, yet it is 1000m in altitude. The whole of the area lying to the North is made up of small valleys that are ideal for vinestock. In 1970 the district harvested 12 hectares/29 acres and in 2002 70 hectares/172 acres.
